School Reimbursement Process
We are ready to accept your information for reimbursement processing.
We are collecting this data in order to better inform OSPI and the state legislature (budget writers) of the great work that is happening with overnight outdoor educational experiences (outdoor school) across the state.

2023-2024 Funding Waitlist
All of the funding for the 2023-2024 school year has been allocated to schools. We do our best to serve our waitlist as funds become available and encourage your school to put in a request. Your waitlist requests will assist us in demonstrating the need across the state.
Your school’s reimbursement and what the funds can be used for Outdoor School Site fees:
Food
Lodging (if overnight)
Programming fees
Transportation
Substitute costs
Additional staff as needed (IEPs, health, etc.)
Supplies/materials for lessons or teaching (lab equipment, clipboards, rain parkas, sleeping bags, warm coats, boots etc.). Things that are consumable or that stay in the inventory for future use for future years.
